We have an ExpressionEngine site where users can log in.  We want to set the cookie expiration to 0 or NULL so that the user is logged out when the browser closes.  However I don’t see any settings to change this under Cookie Settings or Security and Session Preferences.  Is it possible to edit this using ExpressionEngine?  Or do I have to develop some sort of extension?

    upshot,

Are you referring to the control panel or the front-end of the website

If the frontend this should be the case anyway. The moment a user closes their browser the will need to log back in again when revisiting the site unless they ticked the Auto-login on future visits checkbox feature

What version and build of EE are you using?
