I’m having a little problem with, what I think is, MSM and my second site.

    1. I have a news section that should be viewable throughout the sites and templates.
    2. My menu also isn’t working properly. I’m using pages to manage them and its only showing
the home + the current page, not the others.

These 2 things work fine on Site 1 and the templates are exactly the same so I’m not sure
why they aren’t rendering properly on Site 2.

    Bad site: dev.crossfitvitality.com
    Good site: http://www.crossfitdavidson.com

    Thanks for the help!

    Hi Lisa,

Based on those links it looks like you’re making progress. Did you get it working?

BUT—it copied over an older version of the templates when I created the new MSM site.
For future reference, what do I do to prevent this from happening?

    Thanks!

Hi, Lisa. Are you saving your templates as files? Most of the time I don’t copy over templates, since my sites are normally different enough I don’t need to..

Can you tell us which version/build of EE2.x and the MSM you’re using? See EEWiki:// HowTo Determine My EE Version

Did you make sure your templates were synced before you created a new site?

I am saving as files and I am sure I didn’t sync before adding the new site. That has to be it!

    Thanks, Sue!
