I am having some trouble with editing content after a migration from a development (localhost) to production (Media Temple).

It seems that every time I try to edit a piece of content it doesn’t want to save. For instance, I was able to upload a image (a small icon) through the editor but it says “undefined” once it was put into a specific page. The file manager correctly has the image displayed.

I’ve checked the file upload preferences and they seem to be in order.

There are actually two different fields you need to set for each file upload preference. In many cases, the problem is with the server path.

Where Am I? is a method of finding what your server path is.

If you create the file and upload it to your uploads directory, does that work?
