It appears that Safecracker File does not comply with file size limit in the file upload preferences. I can replicate this through the SAEF and CP methods. When switching the fieldtype back to the native ‘file’, I get a warning/error.
I’m running the latest version of everything:
EE 2.1.3
Safecracker/Safecracker File 2
Can anyone else duplicate this?

Hi Nate Iler,
I can’t replicate this. On my install it respects my limits in my file upload preferences.
Is the Safecracker field on its own or inside a Matrix field?
