I’m using 1.6.7. I have image placeholders showing up in safari for empty custom fields that I used to pass images to ee.
Is there anywhere to correct this?

I never got an answer to this question but I figured it out. Just use an image that matches the background as the default image and use conditionals to add the others. If an image is not being inserted the default image will show up like the background.
The problem came about when I was trying to add rollover thumbnails to an image viewer. Some entries have less images than the others. But, because the custom field is inserted in the page, Safari show an emply placeholders (a red x) with the alt text only. So you can just insert the abovementioned image by default and use conditionals to replace it/them if an image is actually being inserted.
