Can’t get a local .sql EE database (whose content i browsed and is correct) to properly import ‘or be linked’ to a new install. Both uses 2x build.
I’ve tried install with default site ‘Agile Records’ as well as blank.
At install, the database i’m linking to keeps getting overwritten at install. I thought it was supposed to link to an existing database if i use localhost, the db name i’m trying to link to, as well and the correct username and pw for the sql server.
Please advice and are there more complete instructions for database MIGRATION than the simple ee install instructions i’ve been using to date: http://ellislab.com/expressionengine/user-guide/installation/installation.html ?
