I’m running 2.1.1 Build:  20101020. I’m updating to 2.1.3. Do I need to make any changes to my .htaccess file since I’ve removed the index.php from the url?
After following the update process, I’m receiving this error:

    A PHP Error was encountered

    Severity: Notice

    Message: Undefined variable: theme_css_mtime

    Filename: _shared/header.php

    Line Number: 9

    index.php?S=b75eecffb75df17f053af17af3d4e66690492c29&D=cp&C=css&theme=default&v=” type=“text/css” media=“screen” title=“Global Styles” charset=“utf-8” >

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi fin,

Per the update instructions, you also need to replace your /themes folder with the latest from the EE download package. Does that help?

Brandon, thanks for the reply. Yeah, I don’t why I failed to do that.  Going back over the instructions and reinstalling, I replaced everything again, but now I have a new problem:

    A Database Error Occurred
    Error Number: 1060

    Duplicate column name ‘show_sidebar’

    ALTER TABLE exp_members ADD show_sidebar char(1) NOT NULL default ‘y’ AFTER quick_tabs

    Filename: updates/ud_212.php

    Line Number: 53

I have done this before even though it may not seem like it. Thanks again for the help.

Just tried a fresh install, still the same issue as above.

    Hi, fin.

A fresh install in an empty MySQL database still has this error?

Glad you were able to figure out what the problem was. Don’t hesitate to post again as needed.
