Some forum members have reported they cannot post short posts…like LOL or XX or Yes…... they have to post a couple words!
The error message is relatively generic, something like
“Unable to receive your submission at this time”

The users in question have different locations, different computers….even multiple computers, and still have the same problem, so it does not appear to be on their end.

Not a real big deal, but have you heard of this before and is their any solution?

Hi, Craig. Have you tested this yourself? Are you doing anything special forum wise as far as coding goes?

Craig, have you tried disabling Deny Duplicate Data?

Brandon, no…..that’s why I asked…..didn’t know which setting might affect it.
Sue, it’s only a subset of users…I can post short posts and so can some others….since the people reporting it to me are very heavy users or mods, I think it might be the dup data thing!

Let me try that. No big deal anyway…..the folks are used to it, but I was just wondering what might be causing this.

Let us know if disabling the duplicate data filter helps, Craig. Thank you!
