Just visited a new client’s site today and the banner read:
ExpressionEngine Version 1.7.0 is now available
But it should be reading 1.7.1 shouldn’t it?
You may still have something to update in in whatever script feeds those banners in EE.
We always turn that feature off to speed up the CP, so this is the first I’ve noticed it.

Hi, Kurt. There normally is a bit of a lag before the official push to show 1.7.1, Derek usually handles that. I’ll mention it to him. 😊
