Hi,
When I switch on ‘Automatically turn URLs and email addresses into links?’ to yes,
does it have to be for the whole Channel?
can I turn it off with a parameter or within a template?
or alternatively, can I switch it on just where I need it?
🙄

Hi Sam, that is per-channel.
What exactly are you trying to achieve, if I may ask?

Hi Brandon,
I want links clickable in one webpage and unclickable in another page, but both are in same channel.

Are your link in the middle of blocks of text?

Yes and no, does it matter? let’s take two identical web pages, one has its links changing to hyperlinks and the other page is read only.
ideal thing would be to have a channel parameter like auto_urls=“off”

I meant you could use something like a custom field or matrix custom field to store a link / title link pair value and output only what you need on a per page basis. Do not apply if the links are part of the text in a textarea.

I see what you mean. Trouble is, the content is mainly added through saef and I can’t control what the links will be.
