I also have this error from a fresh install of EE (yesterday)

Seems that any {if} statement throws this error!

    notebook,

New builds (20110411) of ExpressionEngine 2.1.3 and 2.1.4 were released to fix problems introduced by the 20110406 builds .  This release contains all of the recommended security and critical bug fixes from the initial Security Releases as well as repairing a number of issues introduced by a bad build script.  This release is recommended for anyone on an earlier build.

Can you go ahead and grab the latest build an update to it please

Hi, notebook. We had a few glitches with our packaging for ExpressionEngine. If you downloaded earlier than 6PM Eastern time, please download again and replace your files. The link James posted should be able to help you.

Can you tell us which version/build of EE2.x you’re using? See EEWiki:// HowTo Determine My EE Version
