Many of my site’s pages run through https but the {avatar_url} tag is outputting the image url with http only which is marking the page as insecure, is there a way I can fix this?

I have my site index set at https: in Admin> general configuration and I’m using EE2

Also the {path=' '} tag is also rendering as http, I can work round this but it’s not ideal.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi, jamestowers.

Take a look at this screen shot. Do your Avatar settings use http: or https: ?

    Hi Sue,

There didn’t seem to be any screenshot attached but I assume it was of the avatar preferences in the membership preferences. I just checked that and saw the option to add https to the avatar folder url, hadn’t thought of that.

    All sorted, thanks Sue.

EDIT: the screenshot just magically appeared 😉

That’s ‘cause I added it seconds after posting. 😊 But glad that worked for you. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any more questions.
