We are using EE 1.6.9 with cartthrob.
We are in negociation with an agent who would be working for us. As a result, i am looking at a way to monitor via carrtthrob, sales made by customers who would have been referred by this agent.
The sales would obviously result in a commmission paid monthly to our agent. It would be great if the comission could be worked automatically based on the purchase.
Additionally, we would like to the customer who were referred to us and who bought online to be part of specific member group.
How is it best to implement something like this with EE? Is an additional thrid party specific programm needed to be hooked with EE or must it be custom developped?
