I’d like to be able to add a little bit of custom PHP to the ‘preview’ page. (The page you get after you’ve submitted a channel entry).
How can I accomplish this?

Is there no way to customize the “View Entry” page?

Unfortunately, at this time there isn’t an easy way to hook into that. What you could do is use live look and customize the template that you use for live look to do what you need.
