    Hi!

    Is there a tag for template access. In every template, we can declare which group/s can access a specific template. I wonder if I can trigger it. For example, I want to create a link but I will only show that link if the logged-in user has an access to the template.

    For example:

    {if user_has_access_to_template}
      <a href="http://this_link_is_only_for_groups_that_has_access_to">Link</a>
    {/if}

    best regards,
    Jay

    I quoted this in my question. What I am asking if there is a tag that will return boolean if the logged-in user has access to a certain template. Anyway, thanks for your help. Just forget I asked this question.

    cheers,
    Jay

    Hi, Jay. There isn’t anything built in that will do this. You’d have to search through the exp_template_no_access table to see if that group is unable to see it. This is more of a howto or CodeShare Corner kind of question. If you’d like to explore it further, please post there. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any more questions.
