    Hi there

Im building a site and i use safecracker for creating and editing channel.

    My need :

    I have some channel 1-record 2-personnal_info 3-event…

Record hold the main information, personnal_info is in relationship with record with a custom field, and event is the same as personnal_info but the user can submit multiple “event”.

It is possible to have all the data on the same form with safecracker record, personnal_info and event where it can be editable?

I look at playa where it seem to be a good bet..

    I can’t figure it out

    Thanks

    Kenny,

it is only possible to edit or create 1 entry at a time with Safecracker

Record hold the main information, personnal_info is in relationship with record with a custom field, and event is the same as personnal_info but the user can submit multiple “event”.

This is a good setup but you will need to use Playa for Multiple relationships

Fortunately Playa is supported by SC so yes is the answer to your question. You can have all the entry data on the same form. But note only to change relationships with other channels. Not actually edit the entries that are related

    Does that help?

GKenny, that is correct. You only edit the single entry using SafeCracker. I’m going to go ahead and close this thread since the original question is answered, but feel free to post a new thread if needed.
