Hello-
I am working in EE 2.1.3 and I cannot delete a channel entry. It goes through the motion of deleting (ei - are you sure you want to delete this entry…) but then it never deletes it. Do you have any idea of what I am doing wrong?

Does EE give you an error? Maybe clearing the caches of your browser would do the trick?

Hi Kay- Its very weird, I tried clearing my cache in Firefox and nothing worked but then I switched to Safari and it seems to work fine. I haven’t run into that with Firefox before, thanks for the tip!

Yeah no problem- things like this has happened to me before as well. It may be partly to do with the ajax calls EE 2 makes when you modify something in the backend. Since the action does not take you to a new page (and instead gives you that notification on the upper right hand corner), browsers sometimes hold on to their cached copy of the channel entries, but I’m not sure

Hi HKMUSIL,
Before deleting wait for the Edit page to load fully. There is a know bug where if the page is not loaded then clicking through to the actual edit entry page itself looses some functionality and can’t find its way.
It may be the case with delete also
