Next week is also the first run of the Train-ee EE Add-ons class led by Mr. Erik Reagan. We’re looking forward to a good time here on Phoenix!

I would be grateful if Switchboard could get a mention. I’ve also released a major update to Missing Link.
Edit: Oh yes and I’ve released Freeform Anti-Spam. It’s been a busy couple of weeks.

This week was a busy one over at the bakery, we announced that we will be taking over the premium expressionengine themes from WooThemes (which decided to refocus) and also we released a new version of Simple Registration which now includes a feature called “Signup Keys” for assigning users to specific member groups on signup: http://www.addonbakery.com/blog/2011/04/introducing-signup-keys/

I am developing a free ExpressionEngine 2 polling module/fieldtype: VWM Polls. It is a beta release, however. I would appreciate some feedback on how to make it better and more awesome. It also may need some bugs ironed out.

Hi Leslie,
SnapDigs, an EE site that we designed and partnered with Solspace on for development (this is for a client, not internal), was just announced as an official Webby Awards honoree. I’m sure there are some other EE sites out there and it would be cool to show off the list. EllisLab has blogged about that in the past but maybe the round up is a good place to share.
Maybe a tweet to ask other #eecms people if they are Webby Nominated/Honored?
Here’s a quick blog post on it: http://ericmillerdesign.com/blog/post/eric_miller_design_selected_as_official_honoree_in_2011_webby_awards
And the link:

Thanks!

Foursquare.org, an EE 2.0 site, is also an honoree for the Webbies this year.
and EE site Truthdig.com is a Webby nominee—again!
Both are clients of Hopstudios.com
