Is there a way in ExpressionEngine 2 to preview edits to entries that have already been published? NSM Live Look only does previews for new entries, or you can review edits you just published. Is there a way to preview edits before publishing them?

I don’t think this would ever be possible. If you don’t have the information saved to the database by ‘publishing’ the entry then there won’t be any way of passing the data out to a template in order for it to display it.
Alternatively you could perhaps just set the status to closed for the entry and then use a template which only you have access to which has everything set up the same as the normal template for viewing entries but has closed added into the status=”“ parameter in the channel entries tag maybe? That way only you’d get to see it and can check it out prior to it going live.
You might also want to take a look at Leevis NSM Live Look add-on which allows for this sort of thing directly in the Publish tab. You do have to save the entry first using this method as well though I’m afraid.
