I’ve never build an e-shop using EE 2.0 before.
I have experience on cs-cart and oscommerce e-shops.
But I’m curious how do you approach the product categories. It’s obvious that the channel entries will be serving the purpose of being the actual products. But products need to be categorized. So what’s the best approach to put all the products in categories.
I guess using categories because using the playa plug-in and creating pools of categories and subcategories will over complicate things.
The problem that EE categories have little features and are not user friendly. There are some plug-ins around that could help and improve somethings. But linking product categories with the images is a bit hard for the average user.
Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated
