I’m using Playa 4 but I’m at a loss on how to create a list of all entries in a particular channel by category (like category archive), but only display those that have been related through a Playa Field to an entry in a separate channel.
In my instance, I’m categorizing Code Samples by third party applications. So each entry in my “code” channel will be assigned to a category inside my third-party apps group. Also, each Code Sample is related, through Playa, to a specific entry in my Products channel.
For example, I have two software products, Product A and Product B. Since these products are used to interface with many third party applications, I’m compiling code samples and categorizing them by these third-party apps: Excel, Word, .NET, etc. On Product A’s page, I would like to organize the code samples by categories but only list the samples for that product.
Can the above be accomplished using only one template and one code channel? Is this possible to do using Playa? Or would I make use of some other technique outside of Playa.
