I’m in the process of migrating servers (from Media Temple dv 3.5 to dv 4.0) and having a problem with one of my EE sites. The site home page is coming up, but none of the weblog information is getting populated to the page. I reimported the database and re-uploaded all of the files with the same result.

I’m running EE 1.6.7.

Here are the MySQL and PHP versions on each:

Old (3.5)
MySQL 5.045
PHP 5.2.6

New (4.0)
MySQL 5.154
PHP 5.3.5

I have to ask but have you updated your database details in your config.php for the new site and any server paths etc?

Can you run our server wizard please?

John - Thanks for your reply. I knew that my server configuration wasn’t the issue as I’m running 20+ other EE sites on the same server. I also knew that my database connection was correct as the template was being compiled correctly.

What I didn’t check was disabling extensions. I should have known this from experience. After I disabled extensions in the config file things started working again. Turns out I had an old version of FieldFrame in there (1.2). I went ahead and updated EE to 1.7.0 and FieldFrame to 1.4.4 and we’re back in business.
