    Hi

I´m having the same problem Chief had, with the calendar after upgrading to 2.1.3 (Build: 20101220)

The calendar shows always the entries from a day after the one selected…

I has to be something related with the timezone, we´re in UTC+1

I´ve tried the php code you provided to try clarifying things, but i´m not sure what the results means, that´s what I get:

    Test of various time/date functions:
    Server
    PHP date: 23Feb11 10:40
    PHP gmdate: 23Feb11 04:40
    Database dates(GMT/UTC)
LOC now: held in db as 1298482834 which is 23 Feb11 11:40
    User
    Users timezone: UP1
    Users Time:2011-02-23 17:40

    Thanks in advance,
    Gabriel

Is there any chance you could test with EE 2.1.4? It should fix many of the time and DST related issues.

    Hi,

I finally could upgrade to 2.1.4beta, (upgrading is really frustrating… I had to try it three times and cleaning manually exp_search to avoid errors… by the way)

Anyway, the calendar seems to work properly right now.

But what should I do now???

I´not really sure if installing a beta version in a production (and commercial site) is a good idea…

My client is not really happy yet with the 2x upgrade, and I don´t want make the things worse

    Thanks,
    Gabriel

Hi, Gabriel. It’s all about what the client can live with. If the calendar problem is really bugging them, stick with the beta. It’s pretty solid. The only minor issue I have with it is in the File Manager and has to do with viewing thumbnails on FireFox.

The dev team is continuing to fix bugs for a full release of 2.1.4, but I have no turn around time for newer version. For now, keep an eye on how your site runs, make sure nothing else appears buggy. Does that help?

    Hi Sue,

Well… many of us here probably do know how clients are…
Could I live with the calendar bug? absolutely, it´s not part of the, “core content” of the site, but can he lives??? of course not!! ... it´s killing him!!!... 😊

So I´ll go with you, and try 2.1.4 in the live site, warning him of other possible but minors bugs

    Thanks,
    Gabriel
