I recently created a new site and I am starting to create a forum.
Everything for the forum is working correctly as far as testing posts and adding new members.
My problem:
I am using MSM, and this new site is part one of 4 sites on this. We have one main site, and the other 3 are “subdomains” of the main site. Each have it own url, I just thought it would be helpful if I stated how the sites are set up.
Right now, we have a membership part of our main site for customers to view recorded webinars. Basically we restrict access to this area and request that they apply for membership to the site. So, we have a group of existing members on this site.
When i created the new website and its forum, all of the main site members are showing of as members of the forum. I have the forum set up under the new site domain.
Basically, I am wondering if I can possibly get those main site members off of the new forum on our new site. That way it starts fresh and only displays the “new site” members, and doesn’t allow, or show the Main site members.
Hopefully this makes sense. Sorry about the long winded explanation.
