Not sure why but if I list entries in the CP Edit screen, it sometimes brings up the New Publish Entry form instead of the entry I just clicked on.
Is this a 2.1.3 issue that I missed? I don’t recall having this problem before…

This happens to me too. Have a feeling it was also happening before 2.1.3, but can’t remember for sure. Anyhow, I just close the entry and click on it again, and it always opens properly then.

Yep me too but clients pick up on it and it gets annoying after a while.

The other problem I’ve been having (not just with 2.1.3) is that the write mode popup often won’t go away after you’ve clicked publish to field. This was troubling clients so much that I just stopped using it. I figure it’s a JS problem, but I don’t have the skill to work out what’s causing it.

Are you both using the default control panel themes? Is that happening with all browsers?

I just keep the default theme on all sites (I actually like it!) I mainly use Firefox (Mac), so that’s where I experience the edit posts not loading the content. No client has mentioned this behavior to me yet. But the write mode problem has been happening in Firefox (Mac, for me) and Chrome (PC, for the main client that still uses this).

I’ve been getting this problem too on several different installs using 2.1.3. I’m also on a Mac but its happening in Firefox and Safari. If I sort the results using Title for example the problem goes away.

We have this issue too on 2.1.3. But closing/reopening the entry does not help me. I am on a Mac, but the client is using a PC and having the same issue.

What you found is the current workaround until the new release. Wait for Edit page to load fully. Does this help everybody?

I find it never loads, but it’s not a biggie anyway. I’m happy to close and re-open rather than mess with the code, and will tell any client that complains that there’s a fix on the way.
