I run a fairly basic ticket tracker on a site using the weblog & commenting module.

A user has raised a ticket under their username and they were getting notified of comments via the comment module to their email address.

They have since changed their email address and the notifications have stopped. Is this because the initial entry was posted on their old address?

Do I need to edit the entries within the db to reflect new email address?

For logged-in users that have changed their email address via the control panel this shouldn’t be an issue. That said, you can certainly take a look at the database directly. What version and build of EE are you using?

    Steven,

The comment has an email attached to it as opposed to the email having comments attached to it if you knwo what I mean.

So manually editing that comment in the DB to update the email address as you say might be your only option here

Cheers John, I’ll have a look at the comments table.
