    ExpressionEngine 1.6.9
    Build:  20100430

I developed a site in a subdirectory and just migrated everything relatively easily to the root.  However, I cannot access my modules tab in the CP, and it seems PLAYA functionality has ceased.  However, other modules are working, such as Cartthrob.  Anyone have any ideas?  Thanks!

I am afraid we won’t be able to assist you with issues concerning a third-party module such as playa. Have you contacted the original author for support? You might also want to upgrade to EE 1.7, it’s a recommended update.

Are you removing index.php from your URLs with mod_rewrite?

Well, while PLAYA is one of the modules not working, the problem is that I can’t access the modules tab in the CP at all ... it brings up a blank screen.  All other tabs I can access but that one, so the problem isn’t necessarily limited to PLAYA.  I am removing index.php with mod_rewrite, should I consider not doing so?

Can you please try without it for testing? You might also want to upgrade to EE 1.7. I think there’s also a new version of Playa out (today?).

hey there, i tried without the mod_rewrite and still am getting a blank screen when trying to access the modules tab in CP.  i do know about the upgrades, however my site was working completely fine using the older versions, and am only getting this problem once i migrated up one directory.  to be honest, i’d like to try to nail down the problem before upgrading to version 1.7

i should be tied to a post and whipped!!  i knew it was something dumb, i didn’t have the ‘path to my fieldtypes folder’ updated to reflect the site migration.  everything in order now ... thanks for monitoring.
