I was upgrading from EE v1.7.0 to v2.1.3.

Everything was flowing smoothly and then I received this error message:

    A Database Error Occurred
    Error Number: 1146

    Table '#######a.exp_wiki_category_articles' doesn't exist

ALTER TABLE `exp_wiki_category_articles` DROP KEY `page_id`

    Filename: /www/#######/public_html/system/expressionengine/modules/wiki/upd.wiki.php

    Line Number: 195

I did have the wiki module installed although it was not being used.

Also, the update wizard was on 2.1.3 when the error occurred.

Hi, DougH. I’m assuming you have a good backup of 1.7.0? I’d go back to EE1.7 and remove the wiki, then update again.

I don’t recall seeing this issue before..

Whether this was a good thing to do or not, I don’t know. But for me it worked.  😉

The site had updated to 2.1.2. So I simply deleted the “installer” directory and was able to log in to the 2.1.2 control panel. Then I did what you said and uninstalled the wiki module.

I copied the installer directory back to it’s proper place on the server, ran install and the system upgraded to 2.1.3 without a hitch.
