    Hello,

At our site http://www.devdemon.com I have upgrade to EE2 with EE forums. All the newest stuff. Since the upgrade the Email notifications have been spotty at best. In our last version of EE 1.7 they worked perfectly.

How would I go about solving what is going on? No server changes occurred.  The issue appears to be with additional replies to forums I post to. The original forum posting notification is working well. Just the follow ups don’t appear to be coming through.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you,

    Brad Parscale

Is that for old and new threads alike? Do you have (smart) notifications enabled? When you test via the Communicate tab can you send mail OK?

    1) It really appears in only new threads.

    2) Where is that setting? I have not turned it on if it off by default.

    3) Yeah, orders work perfectly, forgot password, etc, all work great. Just some reason certain posts just don’t respond to me.

Are you constantly not getting notifications, or only sporadically? When you go to your member profile > >  Email Settings, do you have “Enable email notifications by default when you post messages” still checked? When you click “View Subscriptions”, are you subscribed to all recent threads?

    Hello,

Not exactly sure what was happening. But I changed my email address to an external domain and is now working correctly. It appears that possibly the email configuration or something didn’t move over correctly from my original 1.6 install.
