Hi everyone,

I’m trying to use either the Erskine or Lumis with a newly installed EE 2.1.3 installation and I’m unable to get either of them to work. I noticed that they are not appearing in the Add-Ons/Plugins page even though I’ve placed them in the system/expressionengine/plugins directory. I assume this is why neither of them will work. Should they appear on the Add-Ons/Plugins page? And to install them, do I just place them in the plugins directory or is there something I am missing?

Please disregard. I didn’t realize that third-party plugins must be placed in the third_party directory in EE2. Only my 3rd EE2 install so far..

This got me confused at first, too.

If they are EE2 plugins, they all need to be placed in the /third_party/ directory, not the /plugins/ directory. And keep them in their folder in the /third_party/ directory. Like, imgsizer would be /third_party/imgsizer/[files here].

Also, the /language/ folder for each plugin or module stays under that add-on’s main folder, too, not in the main /language/ area, I believe.

Try that and let me know if you have any success.
