I have forum that worked couple years and now

when user post on forum, allways get number 1 in post

instead of text he writen…

Tryed to upgrade to different version but was not able as allways get quite many erorrs

any help

Which version and build of EE are you using and which version of the forum module is installed? Which addons do you have installed for this site? Is this happening for all users or just one or more member groups? Has anything changed in the environment i.e. have you moved or upgraded your server?

Forum   1.3.2

I tryed to upgrade to couple different version of forum but i get many error as..

form unkown fields in mysql table to existing exp_board columns..
Tryed to tweak upgrade files but it does not worked..

PHP version   5.2.14
Apache version   2.2.16
MySQL version   5.0.89-community

When i write direcly to database table work OK.
Cheked permission ... and that OK..

Its happening to all useres

I have another site n same server with forum and working OK with 2.10 version

bus as i said its was not posiblle to upgrade..
beciuse of many errors

Hi, Djive.

I saw this *years* ago - your forum version needs to be upgraded as well.

How many entries are in your forum? It might make more sense to start over.

What’s not working with your upgrade attempts?

I get error exp_boards allready exits.. ....

i tryed couple version of forums.. but allways same erroe like thsi or similar.. tryed
to change upgrade file to not create that table..

but then get into other errors..

there is about 230 topics and 4000 replies..

Please upload the latest version of EE 1.7 and the latest version of the forum module and attempt the upgrade again. As Sue said, this error is caused by EE and the forum module not being in sync.
