    Hi

    I have this strange problem, some p and <a> tags in some strange situation (I’m on it with a client) get several inline styles (using Wygwam). And I found out that when that styles are applied update can’t be made and the page redirects to page with 404 message.

    That styles are not a problem in the way how they get inserted, the problem is somewhere between server/EE config.
    I have the same dev version on my hosting and there I get entry updated normally.

    Does anybody have maybe some clue what I could change?

    Code that makes redirect possible

        ok

    Using 2.1.1 Build 20101020
    I have the same ext/plugins on both versions.
    This weekend I will perform EE update, but not shure if that will help.

    Thanx in advance

    Hi Davor,

    Please do update both systems to the latest version and build. With regards to one server behaving differently to another I would first check that the client server is not running something like mod_security which can cause these kinds of unusual problems. Additionally, please make sure that you have tested this with any .htaccess file temporarily disabled.

    Cheers

    Yeah, I will, I never had this kind of situation, so it’s strange.
    I’ll put an update soon as I do all the updates done I hope this weekend.
    Thanx Greg

    Hey

    I updated both sites, client site keeps having the same problem, but at least I found what “inline style” is making troubles.
    If I put only this content in editor (in this case wygwam but I tried simple textarea too)

    border-top-width: 0px; //and all versions: left, right, bottom

    I can’t get some query strings in the url after the submit
    I have only

    ....C=content_publish&M=entry_form

    and on my dev site I get all

    ...C=content_publish&M=view_entry&channel_id=1&entry_id=4443

    I tried with empty .htaccess, but the redirects stays the same.
    In php info I have nothing that starts with mod_sec, do you want that I check for something else?

    I have very good hosting support, but I don’t know how to make my question, what to ask actually 😊
    Thank you

    Problem solved, I will post a rule (I hope its ok) they changed in case someone else get similar problems, so you could know what to ask your provider to change.

    Access denied with code 403 (phase 2). Pattern match
    "(?:(?:height|width) ?(?:=|\:) ?[0-9] ?px|overflow ?:
    ?(?:auto|hidden)|style ?= ?"? ?display ?: ?none ?)" at
    ARGS:field_id_16. [file
    "/usr/local/apache/conf/modsecurity.d/30_asl_antispam.conf"] [line
    "133"] [id "300076"] [rev "19"] [msg "Atomicorp.com WAF Rules: Spam:
    Hidden Text Exploit"] [data "width: 0px"] [severity "CRITICAL"]
