Hi All,
I have news websites, can u all suggest me that how can i improve traffic of my websites. I want specific ideas that can be applied for news site only.
so that i can increase thousands of unique visitors.
Please reply if you have general ideas…quality link building, PR, content etc..

There is no quick fix or recipe for SEO. You need to read, learn, apply what you’ve learned and adjust based on your observed results.
Google “SEO” - there’s more good, quality information out there than you probably care to read.

Set up a Twitter profile that is focused on any particular subject other than news. Build it , grow it, and in time you can start posting tweets that invite your followers to come see your news site.
Be sure to make your tweets inviting because of your offer of remarkable news stories.
Don’t just tweet that you have a news site. Tweet that you have something Remarkable to read about. And make sure that it is “actually” and “truly” remarkable news.
As time passes and your Twitter followers become familiar with your tag and tweets about remarkable news stories you will begin to grow a following of readers. Some will tell their friends and so on and so forth.
Be sure EACH DAY to respond too the Direct Messages and New Followers that are in your e-mail in box.
This is one sure way to get more traffic to your news site.

Hello, the sure fire way to direct traffic to your site is to build a solid fan base that will, in return, be the one to tweet, post in social sites, etc the very interesting content of your site. You can only do so much. If you want unique visitors, you have got to get the interest of a lot of readers who are so into your site that they are telling their friends about it. LEVERAGE.

Information overload is increasing daily. Building a customer database and emailing a newsletter could be another tool to consider.
