After when I update ee to 2.1.3 I found new issue

Submit enry with relationship field does not store the relation. If open to edit entry again will display “—” in the relationship field. And there are known bug with relationship field https://support.ellislab.com/bugs/detail/14901/

With mysql request I have replaced field_type to “text” to be able use “The Selectatron” instead (somebody else will preffer Playa). “The Selectatron” works even if it’s option “Store selected entries as native EE relationships?” is ON

It is bad that the normal Relationship field does not work.

There is a relationship-related bug in 2.1.3, yes, that should have been fixed up for the next release. I am not familiar with “The Selectatron”. Is that a third-party add-on? Are you seeing the same behavior without it?

Yes. I use it only because the Relationship field does not work.

Relationship does not work. “The Selectatron” works even if uses native relationships.

I can’t replciate your issue on my version of EE2.1.3 and I don’t believe it related to the bug you have linked to.

Can you confirm that the Selectatron custom filed type was only added to your install of EE after you found issue with the native relationship field or was it always there in the background?

What other add-ons do you have isntalled?

Can you confirm you did a version update as opposed to a build update?

Can you just run through 2 Channels in question so we could try a more exact replication

Not surprised. I did update the previous version, not just installed fresh 2.1.3 Maybe that cause the problem

Yes I can confirm it. I can tell you more, I do not need any those selectatron at all, i need workable relationship field.

What John was wanting was more information on the two channels you were trying to relate. If you create two new channels to relate that only use EE’s built in custom fields, does the problem still happen? You mention that this works on another MSM site. How does that site differ from the one that doesn’t work?

Solved. I have create new channel with same group settings and found that this channel works. After that, the old channel was deleted and new channel renamed. Everything works now. I can;t imagine what was the source of the problem.
