I’m not sure whether this is the correct forum in which to post this.  Please move if necessary.

I would like for users upon login/logout to be redirected back to the page from which they clicked the login/logout button - and NOT be directed to the site’s homepage.  It’s a bit annoying for a user to log in, be redirected to the homepage, and then have to click back through the site to find the page they needed.

I changed this a few years ago in EE 1.6, but cannot remember what I changed to do this.  It was not a plugin.  It had something to do with adding a history -1 setting… somewhere…

Can anyone help me out here?

Okay, I figured out how to redirect upon login by adding:  {exp:member:login_form return="{segment_1}/{segment_2}”}

Now, how do you go back to the page you were on after you log out?

Hi, Christian. There’s nothing built into EE to return you back to where you started from when you log out. You might take a look over on Devot-ee.com to see if there are any third party add-ons that do just that.
