We just released Search Results 1.3 that includes a ton of new features that give you a whole set of new capabilities to make EE search results look great!
Key Updates in 1.3
- Added url_title and page_url fields from Structure.
- Added “Google-like” excerpt formatting as a new format. Lists sentences with search term in excerpt.
- Added EE category fields/tag pairs.
- Added ability to filter by one or more categories.
- Added Matrix field compatibility.
- Added Pixel&Tonic; Dive Bar fields.
- Added {absolute_count} which is a running total for all results regardless of pagination.
- Added auto html tag closure on xhtml excerpts (better than existing add ons).
- Added {page_url} field for pages.
- Added new parameter “disable” to disable performance impacting features.
