Hi - I have a weblog where users can post events, and use a date picker field type ({event_date}) to set the date the event will occur. What I want to do is detect the current month, then determine which events have the same {event_date} month as the current month, and display them. How would I accomplish this?  Additionally, the site will display the following month’s events in a separate column. Thanks for any help you can provide.

    heaversm,

Take a look at the start_on= and stop_before= parameter

    Does that help?

It would, except that these tags rely on using EE’s entry_date field, instead of a custom field. I suppose I could use this, but I think it would be more elegant if I could find a way to use a custom field. But thanks for pointing that out. If you can think of a way to incorporate this with a custom field, let me know.
