    Hi all,

Damonrunyon.org, a the cancer search fund site we’ve built a while back, is moving from the popular (and .Net based) Blackbaud‘s eComm/membership platform from “NetCommunity” to what’s called “Sphere” (i.e., both NetCommunity and Sphere are products of Blackbaud).

We’re trying to see if there are any of you who had experience with Sphere, and if it poses any potential issues other than what’s currently known—namely, that they’re considering moving from a LAMP server to a Windows-based server.

Other than installing a full WAMPP/XAMPP suite on the new Windows machine, are there any potential pitfalls? There are currently no real integration between EE and NetCommunity at the site.

Thanks and any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!

    Jae

P.S. The attached slide has the basic overview on server requirements.

My company has actually just been presented an RFP for a site re-design that also requests Blackbaud Sphere integration.

Their current site is EE 1.X, and our proposal will recommend EE 2. It’s still a bit fuzzy how they use Blackbaud Sphere and I’m not 100% clear on what options there are with Sphere integration (API, etc.).

Ejaedesign, do you mind if I ask if you had any luck with your project?
