I have site in subfolder and I want to move it to root.
since I am not sure where are all URLs I have to change, and since I would like to have everything up to date, I have come up to solution like this ...

    1. create new installation in root folder and after finished, just copy third party foolder and change database settings ... will it work?

    2. just copy new files to root, owerwrite with files from old installationlike I am doing upgrade and that is it?

Also, where are all URLs I have to change ... do not talking abotu thirt party but only about EE URLs that I have to change so it works in another folder ...

is there simpler way to move already working site from subfolder to root?

While you can certainly install a new copy of EE and import the old database, there’s really no need to. Just follow these instructions.
