    Hi there,

I have just set up a new msm site. While doing so I duplicated all of the content to the new site. However when I try to edit any of my channel entries in the new site I get a blank screen.

I am running EE 2.1.3 Build 20101220 and latest MSM.

    Any help appreciated,
    Gareth.

    Sorry,

as well as that my current site has the same issue. I followed the instructions to the letter. This is really annoying, can you help?

I had similar problem with some modules and addons that were not made for MSM ... try to disable modules and extensions first (leave default ones) and then try.
that helped me ... and I contacted module developer that made changes :D

    GlobalGraphics,

In your system/index.php file can you set your $debug = 1; please.
It will hopefully show a suppressed error for your blank page

What add-ons do you have installed?

I have tried $debug = 1; but it does not display any error messages at all.

I also do not want to uninstall any add-ons as I have used them to build my first site. Freeform for instance says if I uninstall I will lose all info associated with the module.

    Add-Ons installed are:

    Freeform 3.0.5
    Structure 2.2.4

    Drifter 1.1.3
    NSM Morphine Theme 1.0
    NSM .htaccess Generator 1.0.4

    VZURL 2.0.1

    NSM Body Class 1.0.0
    TruncHTML 2.0
    Word Limiter 1.1

You don’t have to actually uninstall them, just try to disable extensions globally (big green button). Extensions settings are kept that way (be sure to make a backup, too, just in case).

And, yes, turning on error reporting will hopefully tell us more about what’s causing this.
