I have done everything requested in the forum post linked above. Turned off all 3rd party addons extensions, etc… and still having this issue.
I am running EE locally on my machine. Everything seems to begin lagging when I made the switch in what indicated a hidden file from a period to an underscore. I changed the variable in my config.php file and started working through my template files to get all my embed’s updated and that is when I realized my CP had just decided to bog down… a lot. I am talking 80 second load times… bleh.
