EE1.7 Apache - Hosted at Engine Hosting
I get the following error when I am trying to install EE1.7 on step 5.
1.The email address you submitted is not valid
It looks like its error on the “Email address of Webmaster” I put in my email address and I keep getting the same error. Engine hosting tells me it the email address I used to purchase EE. I tried that and it still didn’t work. Anyone know how to solve this install problem?

Looks like Engine Hosting has issues with Filezilla. I deleted the files and reloaded using SmartFTP and the install worked. This can be closed.

I can’t really imagine this being the case. That said, fiule corruptions do happen sometimes and a fresh upload will solve the problem. I am gald to hear that you were able to solve this. Please post again in case there’s anything else.
