My users told me that they are auto logout while they edit entries. And that have to login too often.
Any way to increase time before auto logout?

    Thanks.

Hi, Houdini. Wouldn’t a better option be to change the Control Panel Session type to Cookies Only?

I’ve got an EE 2.1.3 site where the Cookies setting in Control Panel Session Type and User Session Type won’t stick. Both stay at Cookies and Session ID.

How can I get it to stay at Cookies only?

Make sure there are no overrides in your config file. What permissions does it have?

Ingmar. Got it. Placed the change in the config.php file. For some reason, the server changes permissions whenever the config.php file is updated via FTP.

Glad Ingmar was able to help. Don’t hesitate to post again as needed.
