I’m not sure if this is the right forum,

My set up is like this:
- We have external blogs, we are regularly importing content from via rss using (AJW) DataGrab and cron jobs. All good.

Each blog is a channel, and by default its set to be open to commenting. But every time I’m running script to import, all the new entries are set without commenting, so I have to go in to each channel and tick off ‘Update all existing comments to be consistent with this setting?’ and save. I really time consuming job since out blogs are updated several times a day.

Do you guys know why this happen? Is it the module or is it the Expression Engine system to ‘blame’?
I’ve tried to contact the developer of DataGrab few days ago via email without success.

Any help would be much appreciated

Edit: I’m using EE 2.1.1 (Build:  20101020) and DataGrab 1.5.0

I’d recommend contacting the DG author (Andrew Weaver) to check with him on this, since these entries are created by the importer.
