Simliar to the questions above, since upgrading to 1.7 all internal links just bring up the homepage. Cleared all cache, and made sure .htaccess file is intact.
Many thanks

I would like to add, that we were planning to upgrade the client’s site to EE2 once we finalised the new design. They were currently running 1.6.8, but the other day they queried that Google was showing a ‘This site may have been compromised” error message, upon investigation Malware files were found in the images folder!!
So thought best to upgrade to the latest v1 build. But now it seems that every page is the homepage 😊
I hate to bump my post but my client does require their site to be fully functional as soon as.
Many thanks

Ok, maybe I should have applied what was posted in the related thread! Sorry!!
It seems forcing the query strings works! At the moment I’m using htaccess to remove the index.php, can I apply the same for the question mark?
Thanks

Grinstead,
Removing the index.php is something we do not support. You may find information in the Wiki regarding the removal of it though and I have seen some threads in relation to removing the question mark.
upon investigation Malware files were found in the images folder!!
We take security very seriously and will do our best to work with you on figuring out what’s going on.
Check all the index.html files in your image folders
Please also check these files:
* path.php
* config.php
* index.php
to ensure that there is no unusual code such as iFrames or Javascript includes; if you do find that code, then please back-up the file and remove said code. If you are unsure of what does or doesn’t belong in these files, do not hesitate to ask.
This type of Malware is sometimes from a compromised FTP login. SO I would change that password first and then do your cleanout of the Malware.
