I’m looking at using EE to store information about collections of ‘items’. This would be a paid service with a recurring subscription using the membrr module.
Once a user has subscribed I’m looking for a way of having more than 1 login so that an ‘agent’ may have view only access to the information.
Is this possible?

Hi Stuart,
A user and an account are synonymous in ExpressionEngine. However I’m not quite clear on your goal; can you elaborate a bit for us?

Have you checked out Solspace’s User module? If I’m reading this correctly, I think they offer exactly what you’re looking for.
