    version 1.6.8
    build   20091201

I’m was having trouble with this and found out it needs PHP 5 to work.

The web host said if I add this to my htaccess it should work:

    AddType x-mapp-php5 .php

Sure enough it did work when I dropped it into the root folder.

However all the links stopped working.

Anybody any ideas on how to fix this as the hosting company are useless…

What do you mean “all links stopped working”? Do you’ve got a link?

All the navigation links don’t work.

Have removed the .htaccess file as I can’t leave the site like that, so haven’t got a link.

I don’t understand the connection, what’s got .htaccess to do with the site working, or not? I’d like to see the site for myself, if possible, non-working links included.

    Here’s the site:

As I mentioned I can’t leave the .htaccess file on the server to demonstrate the problem unfortunately as it affects the whole site.

So that means it’s back to PHP4 again? We’ll need to see this in action somewhere. Do you have a staging server or some other sort of alternative setup?

    Yes back to PHP4.

    Unfortunately no other setup.

I’ve found an alternative to Freeform for the time being, so it’s not critical now.

So all is OK for the moment? You are a few builds behind for 1.x.

Think i’ll leave it for now as it seems to be working for the client.

Very good. Please start a new thread in case there’s anything else.
