    It’s entirely possible that I’m missing something here, but I’m just asking to be sure.

    Is there a way to automatically add title=“whatever” parameters to hyperlinks when clicking the “Create Link” button on the channel entry publish/edit page?

    In EE 1.6, clicking the link button would prompt you for the URL to link to, as well as title= information. EE2 doesn’t seem to do that. Since the title=”” parameters are nice to have for SEO, I was wondering if anyone else had had the same problem.

    Thanks a lot.

    Hi lukemcr,

    Head to Admin > Content Administration > Default HTML buttons, and change the opening tag for ‘a’ to

    <a href="[![Link:!:http://]!]" title="[![Title]!]">

    Does that work?

    That worked great, actually. I knew I could change the default HTML buttons, it just didn’t occur to be to actually do so. Thank you.

    No problem, lukemcr. By default, the title popup will only appear if you click the link button while holding Alt/Option, but setting it to the above will always ask. Here’s the documentation on the MagicMarkup syntax.
