I recently installed a SSL certificate on my site and assigned a new IP address. Since this I can no longer access the site or the control panel (beyond the initial login page)
I can see a test index.html page I uploaded so the problem seems to be with Expressionengine.

I’d appreciate any suggestions on how to sort the issue.

Did the domain or URL change in any way? EE doesn’t care about traffic encryption as such.

I have actually just fixed it - I had edited a file around the same time as installing the ssl certificate - it was this file that was causing the error. I just assumed it had been the change to https.
