I think I have the same problem. The comment entry form doesn’t appear to have worked since upgrading to EE2 and removing index.php from the url with .htaccess.

E.g. http://www.mix-d.org/blog/about/mix-d-face-20101/

Welcome to the forums, Steve! What version and build of EE are you using? Can you confirm that everything works as intended if you don’t remove index.php?

I’ve had some problems with .htaccess in the past when trying to remove index.php also.  I used Leevi Graham’s ‘NSM .htaccess Generator’ with some success - you could try it too: http://expressionengine-addons.com/nsm-htaccess-generator.

Also make sure you are using the right method for your host.  Mine wouldn’t work at all until I read the documentation thoroughly and found that my query string required the additional ‘?’.
